Night-Blind

form and definition surrender
to undifferentiated substance
the namer, tongue-tied
while tigers lurk
in dreamscape shadow-space
and lie in wait

of my unsuspecting shins

Night-Blind 2

Incandescent splendor of daylight everlasting,
shadowless and unrepentant.
The orphaned moon and stars
press invisible against groaning glass.
No dream shall dare entreat.
No mystery shall find succor.
Regarded not by pallid flesh;
Infinity held at bay.
