This tune is a pretty, if sardonic song about the current bail-outs of failing financial institutions and corporations, with taxpayer's dollars.

Golden Parachutes
(Intro)
(Verse 1)
The housing market's tumbled down. The Phoenix suburbs - a ghost town.
You're out of work. The party's over, but take a look over your shoulder -
(Chorus)
You'll see C.E.O.'s in fine Armani suits, swinging 'neath their golden parachutes.
Geronimo they call. Like autumn leaves they fall.
And the skies are filled with golden parachutes.
(Verse 2)
The factory's shut. The Mall is closed. American dreams haunt dead windows.
We bailed them out 'till they were done, as economies caved in one, by one.
They played the game. They made a splash. We packed their 'chutes with tax-pay-er's cash.
(Chorus)
So that C.E.O.'s in fine Armani suits can swing safely 'neath their golden parachutes.
Geronimo they call. Like autumn leaves they fall.
And the skies are filled with golden parachutes.
(Instrumental bridge)
(Verse 3)
Former investment Wall Street bankers, are now hi-jacking oil tankers.
It's not so really strange, you see. It's just a life of pi-ra-cy.
(Chorus)
And C.E.O.'s in fine Armani suits are swinging 'neath their golden parachutes.
Geronimo they call. Like autumn leaves they fall.
And the skies are filled with golden parachutes.
Geronimo they call. Like autumn leaves they fall.
And the skies are filled with golden parachutes.
